Silt the centaur was born free and roamed the hills under a mighty centaur herd until darkness crept into the heart of humans urging them to kill or enslave all non-human species. The magic of Tiren was massacred while Silt was chained and forced into hard labor. She went dark inside thinking all humans were bad and fought them all until a young boy took pity on her, removed her chains, and helped her heal from the misery she had faced. That one act of kindness drove Silt to protect the boy at all costs, even starting a battle against the king himself to see to the safety of all. Thus, pitting downtrodden slaves and overworked humans against a highly trained military force. Can they prevail? Only the stars know.
