My body, the world, was too heavy today.
I didn’t want to get up.
The news was too heavy; I didn’t want to listen today.
But I did.
My mistakes weighed heavy on my heart and mind.
But I bore them and tried to be better.
I scrolled the news and found sorrow.
I saw the word drowning in hate.
I saw people laughing and dancing and others yelling at their happiness.
I wanted to give up.
But I didn’t.
